Friendly staff and very nicely decorated. Amazing view of the lake too!
Plenty of seating. Indoor and outdoor on a covered heated patio, overlooking Coniston Water. Lovely selection of home cooked hot food, delicious cakes, hot and cold drinks and ice cream. Food orders were quickly served. Cyclists, hikers, families, children and dogs were all welcomed, in a busy vibrant atmosphere. All escaping the cabin fever from spending the Christmas period in the lake district no doubt
Currently my favourite cafe. Whilst not cheap, I don't think the prices are unreasonable and let's face it, we all deserve a treat every now and again.The food and drink selection is great and the quality is very good. However, the best thing about it has to be the setting - it's second to none.
Situated right on the edge of Lake Coniston with stunning views over the water. We visited today when it was really busy due to a power boat event but it was still a great place to visit. Fantastic selection of cakes to tempt you. Good cup of tea too
Lovely selection of cakes & food. Vegan /gluten free menu available, although had run out of vegan muffins at time of our arrival (quite late in the afternoon, it has to be said). Reasonable pricing compared to a pub in the village. Pleasant and welcoming staff. An enjoyable experience.
